The increase of bad manners and self-absorbed behaviour is very noticeable in Sydney and probably around the world.
Manners has seemingly been classified an old fashioned custom and parents these days don't seem to be teaching children manners and in turn kids are growing up without the concept of manners.
So what constitutes bad manners?
The dictionary describes it as impoliteness resulting from ignorance.
This would mean that if people deliberately display bad manners, they are not being ignorant, they are just plain bastards.
But what is it that pisses me off the most about manners?
It's what I encounter when out in the public domain.
Pick A Winners
The girl says it all, also applies to teeth, groin and crack scratchers.
Queue jumpers
People who know you have been there queueing up longer than you but will happily get served before you. (could be more bastard than bad manners)
Feet Seaters
Those people who put their feet on seats as if their shoes are eternally devoid of dirt or poo.
The Last Suppers
The person who doesn't offer it around to everyone else before taking the last piece.
Slammers
People who don't look behind them to see if someone else is coming through the door.
Turnstile Rage
The twit that lines up to get through a turnstile only to jump across to another one because they must get in one second quicker rather than having patience.
Chew View
You know the friend or colleague who chews with their mouth open.
Food Chat
The person who insists that their voice sounds more interesting with half a masticated sandwich in their mouth.
Glass Folk
Those considerate folk who stand right in front of you to watch something you were watching not realising at all that you now have their fat ass to look at.
Fluff Makers
People who insist that if they mask it you wont realised they just gassed you half to death.
These are just a sample of bad manners that is infiltrating our society. What about you? What behaviour do you find impolite and inconsiderate. ;)
Let's get out there and show our good manners people.
Have a nice day
