Monday Soapbox #5

Kim Jong-un's aunt Kim Kyong-Hui and uncle Jang Sung-Taek calling the shots in North Korea

Let the propaganda begin!

Many of you are all laughing at the recent comical stories and pictures circulating about Kim Jong-un.

Like this one for example

Nothing wrong with a bit of humour, but don't kid yourself too much.

The North Koreans are not the only ones being fed propaganda on a daily basis and brainwashed into following a 'Dear' Leader.

We are fed so much rubbish here in Australia and our media is full of views the owners of the publications want us to believe. News is a business, not a service, so consider how much you believe of what you read online and view on the TV.

We were fed this cartoon to laugh at Kim Jong-un, now we are supposed to find it funny that he is not even in control of the country, that his aunt and uncle call the shots.

Give me a break, this is propaganda aimed at the leader, but the media and world leaders want us to laugh so they can show him how ridiculous we think he is. They know he is very interested in global opinion.

Nothing wrong with it, the man could be a moron, but what's going to be the next thing the world wants us to find funny about him?

Harrison Craig Brings The Voice to a Standstill

Here it is again, the old public relations manufactured star.
Its not about The Voice, it's about the story.
Sure he can sing and sure you all probably love him enough to tune in and buy his music.
But you have just swallowed hook, line and sinker to this publicity stunt they call a TV talent show.

Clearly it's not enough to have talent, you have to have the hard luck story to go with it.

The Voice? or The Gimmick?
