HAPPY NEW YEAR

This blog is my second most read entry at just over 500 views. It is still getting a lot of interest so I thought I would give a bit of a once over.

MY FAMILY COMPLETE SERIES SUMMARY

Throughout the entire eleven seasons we had  Ben and Susan Harper as the heads of the household.

 

ROBERT LINDSAY and ZOE WANAMAKER

Also there for the whole eleven seasons were two of their children Janey and Michael Harper

DANIELA DENBY-ASHE and GABRIEL THOMSON

Not to forget the eldest son of the family Nick Harper who was only present for the first half of the series.

KRIS MARSHALL

Over the years Susan invited a couple of people to stay at the house and so we soon met distant relative Abi Harper and a friend of Nick, Alfie Butts

 

SIOBHAN HAYES and RHODRI MEILIR

During the same season that we met Abi, we also met her future husband -  the neighbouring dental surgeon  Roger Bailey

KEIRON SELF

Other family members have come to stay including Susan's mother Grace Riggs, and Janey's illegitimate son Kenzo

 



ROSEMARY LEACH and TAYLOR MARSHALL

Of course there's been few boyfriends pass through the house, most have been Janey's and one has been Michael's when he comes out in the 10th series.

 

KEVIN BISHOP - BEN UTTLEY - NATHAN BRINE

120 episodes filled our screens over eleven years and we watched them grow up and fly the nest and of course, keep coming back. We even got a glimpse into the future to see what pitfalls await them if they let a silly Christmas game change their lives forever.

It is very hard to select a favourite episode out of the whole eleven seasons, but I have listed my top 10 favourites in reverse order.

I think it was very hard to top episode #78, The Weakest Link episode, but Halloween was always considered one of my top favourites.

So at the end of the series, Ben and Susan are still happily married, Nick is out there somewhere finding a life, Janey is living in her own apartment with a steady boyfriend Craig and son Kenzo, Michael is finding himself in the world as a homosexual and might or might not be still with Scott, Abi is living in a convent finding peace as a nun, Roger is dating a waitress, Alfie is wandering around somewhere, and Grace is sadly 6 feet under.
