Julia Gillard swears in new Labor ministry after revealing it at Parliament House

You will never see a tougher woman in Australian Politics than Julia Gillard.

Nor will you see a more berated, bullied, harassed, hated and savagely criticised leader.

Many women will say they hate her and yet can't tell you why, except maybe because of her voice at the most. They just hate her.

Many say she fights for self-interest and not for the Australian People.

Ask yourself what is your own personal opinion of Julia Gillard and then ask yourself why do you feel this way. Be honest with yourself too.
When you form your opinion ask yourself how much of the reason you think this way is based on fact or things you know about her first hand. Now ask yourself how much you based it on what you have seen in the media.

In the six months ahead before the election, I challenge you all to ignore what the media tells you to believe and form your own opinion based on what you discover and learn and what you actually know about both leaders and both parties.

Think for yourself, it is YOUR vote and we are all in danger of being controlled by the media and the owners of media outlets who have extremely strong self-interests and they fight dirtier than any one.


Child Dies as Asylum Boat Hit By Waves

The sadness of the Asylum seeker issue never goes away.
So much is being done to address it, so much more needs to be done, interim measures are getting blocked because of the argument between right and wrong.
The only clear answer is that there is never going to be a solution that will please everybody.
The laws do need changing, but closing our country to asylum seekers is not the answer.
Will we ever get it right?

How do you come back from being held captive and used for daily ransom demands and never knowing if you will ever have your life back again?
Governments cannot and should not ever pay ransoms, if they do then citizens world wide will be constantly kidnapped and ransomed.
It's an awful ordeal and you hope he recovers and regains a decent existence.
