You all know that I am a die hard Bulldogs fan so why not use a fan pic for my second Blog Report of the year.
Since creating the new daily blog format we have covered two 6 week cycle periods so that's 12 weeks of continuous blogging or 84 days in a row. Not a bad effort.
The popularity of the various pages has not changed that much in this second cycle but there have been some slight shifts in viewing.
So let's go back 12 weeks and see the audience of the top ten viewing countries on March 9, 2013.

So in the first blog report it was very exciting to note the shift away from a local audience and the development of a broader international audience. So what were the figures after 12 weeks? We will come to that later.

The headlines and the NRL went down and all the other pages grew in popularity.

This fell on a weekly basis...

Week Two --- 78.7% (Down 1.1%)
Week Three - 77.9% (Down 0.8%)
Week Four --- 77.2% (Down 0.7%)
Week Five --- 75.6% (Down 1.6%)
Week Six ----- 73.0% (Down 2.6%)
In the second blog cycle it continued to fall even further.

Week Eight ---- 69.9% (Down 1.1%)

This means the local audience has fallen 15.6% since the new format has began which indicates that more people around the world are tuning in to laugh at the rubbish I have to say.
The international audience has grown from 18.6% to 34.4% That's fantastic.
The US audience is still the biggest of the international audience and it has risen 7.5% from 12.9% to 20.4%

So what's in store for the next 6 weeks??? Well it is definitely time to give things a bit of a shake up, particularly now that we completed the My Family complete series blog. There are some blog plans that may not come to fruition depending on the availability of others who I have been corralling to get more involved in my content. But here is the plan....
MONDAY - NRL REVIEW
Formerly a Sunday blog, this is now moving to Monday's because the Round really doesn't finish till the Monday night game and will now be comprehensive.
TUESDAY - SYDNEY INSIGHTS
The popularity of this blog is growing every week and so I decided to keep it in the mix and followed the adage if it ain't broke don't fix it. The only change is that it is now merged with the History page as quite often the two subjects overlapped.
WEDNESDAY - GRIPE NIGHT
This page will replace two pages, which is Gripe of the Week and Topical Soapbox. The two again were often linked and this way I get it all out of my system once a week.
THURSDAY - COMIC CORNER
This is going to be my try hard attempt to make you laugh once a week, it will comprise of a mix of my own content and images, links and other material online that does the rounds but is declared by me as must-view content and will list must-follow humourous people on twitter and other social media.
FRIDAY - J G S HABITAT
This is a new page that is going to be a snapshot into my own personal adventures, warning - contents may cause drowsiness. But it will look back at the working week that was and look ahead into the weekend and what fun it hopefully contains.
SATURDAY - GARDEN PALACE BOOK REPORT
This has been moved from Friday's to Saturday to give me a little more time to update you all on the progress of the revised novel and further insight into the creative process and include others who have been involved behind the scenes to help bring it to life.
SUNDAY - WAAPA YEARBOOK
This would have to be the biggest undertaking of the new blogging program. I have been annoying all my former Music Theatre classmates from the old WAAPA days to catch up with where they are and who they have become. How their lives have changed and how their life's focus may have shifted since we all gathered in Perth just over 10 years ago. It is planned to give insights into the real slog that you don't see in the fast tracked stardom that is television talent shows.
So I think I have set myself a huge blogging task in the next 6 weeks, some of them might crash and burn but the goal is to persevere through the entire cycle.
